Be what you want to be, be a Barbie girl 🎶

As a child, I wanted to be a vet, like most of my classmates in school, because we as kids only had vet or soccer player as the only two options, yeah... kids. But it's not like I wanted that, I just went with the flow at that moment, you know I was only 5 years old...
When I grew up a little, maybe in my 12's, I had a big desire to be a lawyer, and I was so serious about it that I told my father, family, and other people about it, but one day, someone said to me "do you know that as a lawyer you're going to help people who indeed are the bad of the situation, can you do that?" I thought about it, and I realized that I couldn't be a lawyer. Yup, that was the end of a dream job for me. It is kind of funny to see what I ended up choosing, knowing what happened earlier in my mind, hehe. I never thought again about what I wanted to study in my future when I was in school and it was in my last year when little by little I started to think to study arts. I always liked it and had some talent for it, but I never did say it out loud because of the prejudice. But, magically, things just started to fix in... finally I told my mom what a wanted study and she told me "Honey, I always knew it." So that's how finally I decided to study Arts at the university. Another career option that I had was to study to be an art teacher or language teacher. My experience at University has been positive talking about what happens inside "el taller" connecting with people and learning more techniques, yeah I'm happy doing what I'm doing right now. After finishing my studies I would like to find a job where I can treat people by helping them, something like art therapy.

    I'm starting to think that we all wanted to be veterinarians at some point when we are childs haha.
    Alma, it's very interesting that you thought about becoming a lawyer, it's a difficult thing considering what you were told, it's difficult for precisely that reason.
    I am glad that you followed the way of arts and you want to help people with this, it is very beautiful.

    I think the same what Michelle, we all wanted study to be Vet when was a childrens? It´s a thing interesting, if we think about this. Anywhere, you always wanted to help the people, right? It´s a noble meta. In the future maybe we will go to your consult to take one session of art therapy, because I think what alls therapy are necessary in one moment of our life.

    Interestingly, you also want to study veterinary medicine. It is a common dreaming job and I think it's a great career. About being a lawyer It is quite difficult to deal with some of the basic conditions that some jobs require. Also I think on the ethical factor for defending a criminal or even a rapist, I don't even want to think about it.

Post 5: in fact there's a song about it 🤓☝️

  It’s interesting because when I started studying visual arts there was a different curriculum than today and having these two experiences made me think about it a lot.  The first curriculum consisted of a five year program that gave the students the possibility of having not only a bachelor's degree but also a degree for making the thesis in the last year of studies.  Now it’s only a four year program, the students can have a bachelor's degree but nothing more than that, because some people decided to disappear the degree for visual artists.  I don’t know who are the people in charge of make that’s decision 🙄🙄🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️  But If I was the person in charge I will make that the subjects to study in first year will applied in just one semester to have more time to learn the abilities of the other three years.  we have courses in painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, goldsmithing, textile, engraving, among others, students can chose between these besid...

If you had to eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? what a difficult question, why did I do it? I don't know how to answer it Just one thing? OOOH DUDE THAT'S NOT COOL! You know, I always think about meals, but I love sweets like milkshakes, cheesecake, all the forms of chocolate, yeah I have a sweet tooth once I learn how to prepare cheesecakes but that happened a long time ago, and now I don't remember how to do it. This is my rule, if have more than three ingredients it's not for me, I don't allow it, I can eat everything, but preparing it's different, my head just forgets everything. But thanks to internet I can search for what I want to cook but when I finish I'm already forgotten the recipe 😅 Yeah, all that things are not healthy, but makes me happy when I eat something sweet.
